Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to classical, old boleros and traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana loves tangos as well as opera and various dramatic styles. The mother of her child taught her to sing, but she began more intensive vocal training by Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. his name was known as a famous Mexican opera Tenor. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward with the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a young student and professional, she sang with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choirs in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She performs current traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. She is passionate about performing, painting, as well as performing, keeps her active in numerous local organizations in the roles of teacher and performer. Ana has been an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as along with The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana hopes that with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she will instill a passion, particularly among the younger generation and keep the tradition alive.
