Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. His acting career started with TV performances, such as Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. Following appearances in several teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also featured in films based on comics such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). The film gained him more recognition due to the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He was one of the top-paid actors in the world thanks to his involvement in the Marvel franchise.
